Comment: Dear Regina, Our European trip was wonderful – something to remember always – and the grand finale was our four days in Paris based at Carol’s B&B. Carol’s friendly guidance allowed the perfect way to finish off the trip by getting to know Paris in our own way. We had stayed with friends at several places on our travels and Carol kept the homely, friendly atmosphere going beautifully. Overall, with the central location and the way Carol runs her B&B, we could not have asked for anything to suit us better. For your information, the way we had got onto Carol was a very complimentary article in the travel section of the Melbourne Herald Sun about two years ago, I think. Thanks again for your help.

Comment: Carol was certainly a great host. Vicki and I spent a number of evenings during our two week stay in her company, after our daily sightseeing, sharing the odd glass of wine. Her advice on little things like the fastest way to get somewhere, or how to best use the Metro and connect to the RER, was always accurate and appreciated. The accommodation on Ile St Louis was really well placed – Marais on one side and St Germain and Latin Quarter (cheap dinners) on the other. Close to metro and Seine Batabus too.

Comment: Carol was fantastic and very helpful to all our needs. She was readily available and we would thoroughly recommend anyone staying in Paris to utilise this B&B. It was a great location and within walking distance to the many wonders of Paris. Thanks Carol for a great stay in beautiful Paris!!! Everything was very well kept and very clean. The shower was a little bit of a squeeze but in the heart of Paris we weren't too surprised but it was still very functional. Breakfast was great, fresh croissants, fruit and juices along with cereals and coffee and tea. Carol also made us a packed extra breakfast 'to go' when we headed to Versailles. She was so accommodating. The location was perfect as we loved the proximity to Notre Dame and couldn't resist taking photos every time we went past it. The accommodation was really well furnished and decorated throughout and our room was light and airy. We knew the apartment was on the 3rd floor so we had no issues with that and the carting of our luggage although our host even offered to help us take them up. If anything it would have been a bit more room in the shower. We had a great stay and Carol (our host) was informative and very friendly. She went out of her way to help us, there were fresh flowers in our room on arrival which was a delightful room. She became more of a friend than a host and we would stay here again if ever in Paris.

Comment: “I stayed on the island at Carol's Bed & Breakfast Apartment No.359, rented from Petite Paris (petiteparis.com.au). Apart from the several steep sets of stairs, it was perfect. Carol Guay is an exceptional host. She met us with a cup of tea, showed us where everything was and made us feel as if we were on holiday with friends. Our room was small but it had all that we needed. It is Carol's home and, as such, offers a true Parisian experience. And that starts first thing in the morning with warm croissants”.

Comment: Carol was delightful as a host and the location of the property is excellent. My daughter's room was great for her as she became unwell on our arrival in paris picking up a bug on the train from barcelona and the room provided some tranquility away from the hustle and bustle and Carol was helpful and very compassionate. The spaces we had were very comfortable and the breakfasts were too much and too tempting.

Comment: We had a marvellous stay at Carols. We all got on so well it was a bit like staying with family. The apartment was wonderful everything you see in all the books about Paris and more, lovely flowers great breakfasts the croissant’s just melted in your mouth, and lovely fresh fruit. Carol was very helpful with advise on the Metro, and good shopping advice. She gave us a great selection of restaurants also. All in all we had a marvellous time with a lot of help from Carol and would highly recommend her B & B to anyone thinking of staying Paris. Great location also handy to most things. Thank you for all your help and hoping to use your services again soon Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Comment: Nothing was too much trouble for Carol. She was very supportive and went to great lengths to assist us. We were all extremely happy with the quality and quantity of food at breakfast time, the linens and towels, cleanliness, bath products, and room comfort. But mostly the location, breakfast and Carols wonderful assistance. For those who are churchgoers we can recommend The American Church in Paris-information obtained from Carol. A wonderful Sunday Service -followed ay a long but enjoyable walk 'home' through the gardens and river bank.

Comment: Carol opened her home to us and allowed us to treat her home as our own whilst in Paris. We couldn't have asked for more. Carol is a delightful, warmhearted, lady who we now consider to be a good friend whom we will keep in touch with. We appreciated the double glazed windows and the blackout curtains. When you are travelling, good quality sleep is a must’. Spotless presentation throughout our stay, beautiful flowers everywhere.Carol provided a beautiful breakfast including fresh fruit platter every morning along with her company over coffee. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect host and introduction to Paris. Considering we were in Paris, we felt very lucky to be staying in a comfortable environment at the end of each day.

Comment: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with Carol being the perfect hostess. This visit to Paris was made more pleasurable than our previous visits, due to Carol's knowledge of Paris, great personality and her hospitality.
