This charming 1800's two-storey village house at the end of a row of terraces, with plunge pool and private parking, situated in a quiet quartier just 2 minutes walk to the historic centre of St Rémy with its lively bars, cafés, restaurants & boutiques. Fully renovated retaining original features, updated with modern conveniences and beautifully decorated in Provençal style, 2-3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Relax in the pool house with a glass of rosé, dine on the terrace, take a dip in the plunge pool.
Enter by the stone-flagged terrace to this beautifully decorated two-storey terrace house. Tastefully renovated with modern conveniences whilst retaining its Provençal charm, exposed beams, original terra cotta tiles, stone floors and furnished with treasures found in nearby antique markets. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, both with large comfortable beds (160cm x 200cm) one of which can be separated into 2 x singles, and one bathroom with shower, toilet and handbasin. Downstairs is a Queen size sofabed in the 3rd bedroom/sitting room with adjoining bathroom with large queen size innerspring mattress (160cm wide).
The ground floor has a cosy combined kitchen, dining and sitting area and butler's pantry with fridge, washing machine and dryer.
There is a second sitting room with cable TV and a sofa bed (with a comfortable mattress 160cm x 200cm) which can become a 3rd bedroom with adjoining bathroom containing a bath, separate shower, toilet and handbasin.
Dine on the terrace shaded by the fig tree or at the bar table in the stone pool house. Sun bake on the chaise lounges after a refreshing dip in the 6m x 2m heated plunge pool. The pool house is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine or two after a day enjoying the local attractions, sightseeing, shopping at the Wednesday market, exploring nearby Glanum and the Roman ruins and the towns of Arles, Avignon, Les Baux de Provence and more. There is also a parking space for one car in the garden accessed by a motorised gate.
The house is located in a quiet quartier in the picturesque village of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence which is situated at the foot of Les Alpilles mountain range in the heart of Provence. It is famous for its bustling Wednesday morning outdoor market, the remains of the Roman city of Glanum, the birthplace of Nostradamus and where Vincent Van Gogh lived and painted many of his masterpieces. There are a wide variety of fine restaurants, traditional bistros, bars and many lovely boutiques in town. Throughout the year traditional festivals are celebrated in the tree-lined streets surrounding the town.
At Maison des Coeurs you are footsteps to everything in the village, shopping , cafés, restaurants, bars, bakeries, butcher, grocery supermarkets and wine stores are within 50 metres. It's just 20 minutes drive to Avignon TGV, 50 minutes drive to Marseille airport, 30 minutes drive to Arles and there's a local bus to and from Avignon.
There is heating downstairs and upstairs there is reverse-cycle air conditioning and free wifi throughout.
There is free onsite parking for 1 car.
On arrival guests are offered Fruit and rosé plus tea coffee milk
filtered water, and cooking basics such as oil vinegar salt pepper etc
to help guests get started with their cooking.

- After booking, you will receive an instant booking email confirming your reservation.
- Balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival/check-in directly to your host Karen via Paypal or bank transfer. Karen will contact you with the full details and instructions after booking.
Check in and Check out:
- Your host/apartment owner Karen will welcome you at the apartment.
- Check-in time is strictly between 4-7PM. Guests cannot have earlier
access if they request it prior to arrival, and unfortunately there is no possibility to hold luggage for early arrivals too.
- Check-out before 10AM

- Karen does not accept pets in the apartment.
- The home is non smoking.
- Your hosts apartment is wifi equipped if you have a laptop, mobile or other device you can connect to the internet.
